Master of Arts Program
The M.A. in Transformational Leadership and Coaching is designed to prepare adult and mid-career learners with an in-depth understanding of the principles of transformational learning, leadership, and coaching in a wide variety of professional settings. Graduates of the master’s degree program will be prepared to assume roles as leaders and facilitators in their current careers in business, education, public administration, human services organizations, etc. They will also be prepared as well as many professional coaches to provide expert assistance in the application of transformational learning, leadership, and coaching principles to problems of institutional improvement.
Our master’s degree program begins with core courses in human development and leadership. Learners in each program then choose from among eighteen elective Areas of Competence (ACs), and develop new skills and competence in each Area through readings, research, and projects tailored to meet the learner's personal and professional objectives.
